The National Park Service is truly a unique agency of the Federal Government. The Mission of the National Park Service to "conserve the scenery and natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations" cannot be solely achieved by the Agency's dedicated staff. It is the American people, individuals, families and organizations, that make it possible for the National Park Service to fulfill this unique mission.
