Echoes of Revolution: 200th Anniversary of the Bunker Hill Monument's Cornerstone Laying

The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company, American Friends of Lafayette, and the Massachusetts Lafayette Society in full regalia will proceed from the Charlestown Navy Yard Gate 1 up Chestnut Street to the Bunker Hill Monument Grounds beginning at 9:30 a.m.

At 10:00 a.m., Michael Douglas "Daniel Webster" reenactor will read an edited version of Webster’s speech. "Lafayette" will give his historical remarks, followed by other guest speakers. Accompanying music from the original 1825 event will be performed.
