Description

Join a guided hike along a section of the Marquette Greenway, Salt Creek, Deer Trail Park trails (approx. 4 miles). Meet at the Marquette Greenway - Burns Harbor Trailhead parking lot located at 300 Navajo Trail, Burns Harbor, IN 46304 (THIS YEAR ONLY due to construction of the Marquette Greenway trail).
 
Starting at the Marquette Greenway - Burns Harbor Trailhead. We hike to the Deer Creek Trailhead and back, about 4 miles.

This 1966 Hiking Challenge is number 14 of 19, where you can join a guided hike on nearly all of the trails in the national park. The challenge will take place over the course of the summer with each week featuring a new trail. There will be a total of 19 hikes covering 66 miles to honor the year the park was established.
