Dixon, a fine singer as well as horn player and band leader, mentored with the great Orange Kellin, and is now an established doyenne of Frenchmen Street, and can be heard with her own Shotgun Jazz Band, Tom Saunders’ Tom Cats, and the Shake ‘Em Up Jazz Band.
