Winter Owl Prowl
Join the National Park Service for a campfire, guided night hike, and live owl program presented on the covered upper deck of the center’s lodge. Enjoy the cold winter air as you roast marshmallows over an open fire and walk along a forest trail enjoying the nocturnal sights and sounds. Discover new facts about the owls of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. The live owl program on the covered upper deck will be presented by Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalists and will include a surprise guest. After the program join Park Ranger Jerry Hightower for a short night hike along the Three Forks Creek Loop Trail.
