Reservations accepted beginning June 29, 2019. Reservations/ticket purchase must be made online through recreation.gov. You will need to create an account on the recreation.gov website to complete your reservation.

Bring your own flashlight and experience the lighthouse, and island as the keepers did, in the dark of night.Hear stories of the light keepers and watch the sunset and moon and stars come out on the unlit beaches of Cape Lookout National Seashore.  Discover a different side to your favorite beach!

 Reservations are required.  For each Evening at the Cape, reservations will be accepted one week prior to the actual program date. The cost of the program is $28 per person (non-refundable) and includes the cost of the ferry ride.
 
There will be one evening ferry trip on each date for the program that night; the ferry departure times from  the Harkers Island ferry gateway will vary as it is adjusted for the sunset throughout the season.   Returns to Harkers Island will be after dark.
