Description

Join Frank Perez, author, historian, and president of the LGBT+ Archives Project of Louisiana, to discover how LGBT+ people and culture have influenced life in New Orleans and the French Quarter. Highlights include the role of gay men in early 1900s preservation efforts, gay and lesbian artists and writers, legendary bars, Gay Carnival, Southern Decadence, and the tragic UpStairs Lounge arson of 1973.
