Village Creek Sandbar Clean-Up (National Public Lands Day)
Keep Village Creek Clean!
Volunteers can make a huge impact by helping us clean up trash at the US Highway 96 boat launch and sandbar along Village Creek. This area is very popular and needs some love.
Meet Big Thicket staff at the boat launch at 9:00 am to pick up supplies including trash grabbers and bags.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, and to bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen.
