The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public. This concert is presented in partnership with the Berklee Summer in the City concert series.

Yujin Han, a South Korea-born jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, studied at Dongduk Women’s University in Korea.

She started her career as the leader of an alternative R&B band, the Blowers, in 2020. She developed a distinctive compositional voice with the support of the CJ Cultural Foundation, presenting her music to public audiences. After moving to the United States, she continued her studies at Berklee College of Music with the support of a Presidential Scholarship.

At the Berklee Global Jazz Institute and the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice, she deepened her exploration of creative harmonic approaches and rhythms, drawing inspiration from diverse global musical influences. She has performed at Panama Jazz Festival, Medford Jazz Festival, Boston Progressive Jazz Festival, and a variety of venues in Korea and Boston. She was featured as an emerging artist at the 2024 Vermont Solo Jazz Piano Festival.
