Nature Walk at Francis Gate Park - Wellness on the Walkways
Francis Gate Park, located between Broadway and Pawtucket Streets, is home to a historic lock chamber and the famous Francis Gate. There are also numerous plants and animals that we will observe. We will try out using the SEEK app, which helps identify organisms. Join a Park Ranger as we learn about the history and natural world of Lowell. The ranger-guided walk will begin at 11:00 am at the Guard Locks site, 719 Broadway Street, where there is limited free parking available. Look for the ranger near the large white historic house along Broadway Street.
