Help the native plants of San Diego’s only national park grow and thrive! Volunteer with us as we remove invasive species and restore hiking trails.

Join the Weed Warriors (habitat restoration) team in removing invasive plants that threaten the park’s native habitat and its beautiful hiking trails. No special skills or knowledge needed. We will teach you!

Please wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, closed-toe shoes, and a hat—don’t forget sunscreen and a water bottle! RSVP recommended at cabr_volunteers@nps.gov for fee-free volunteer entry details.

If you love native plants and would enjoy a free day at the park, then mark your calendars for these special volunteer sessions!

Suitable for ages 12 and up, with adult supervision. Minors under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
