Description

Explore Zion by moonlight on a 1 hour, 1 mile nighttime guided hike on the Timber Creek Overlook Trail.

Weather

If it is precipitating or thunder is heard within 30 minutes of the program start time, the program is canceled. If it is cloudy, the program will be held as planned.

Rules and Recommendations

  • Please do not use white lights (flashlights or cell phones) during the program. Red lights are allowed.
  • Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or bring any pets to the program.
  • Wear layers - nights are much colder than days in Zion National Park.
  • Tripods are not allowed.

Accessibility Information

This hike is not ADA accessible. We follow the Timber Creek Overlook Trail, which is an unpaved, uneven climb over rocky terrain on a narrow trail. Overlook at the end has steep drop-offs. Total elevation gain of 100ft (30m). Rangers at the visitor center are available for any additional questions. You can also visit the Accessibility page of our website for more information.
