Special Event
Join a ranger at the Heron Rookery for a hike to see what early woodland flowers are blooming. The Heron Rookery traill runs along the Little Calumet River and is one of the best locations in the region to see woodland wildflowers.
The hike starts from the Heron’s Rookery’s east parking lot. GPS coordinates are 41.627043, -86.952446 (decimal degrees).
