Description

Timucuan Preserve is excited to be able to offer small group teacher workshops this summer. Our workshops will be capped at ten teachers per session, but we will offer a variety of dates throughout the summer. Content will focus on Timucuan Preserve history. We are offering 4 workshops centered on Kingsley Plantation, the Gullah Geechee, and American Beach. We will offer 4 workshops on the Fort Caroline story, St. Johns Bluff, and the military importance of the St Johns River through time.

Reservations are required an can be made by emailing timu_preserve_education@nps.gov. You must receive a confirmation to consider your reservation complete. We recommend having alternate dates selected.  CEU are available for Duval County teachers.  The workshops are open to all educators.

Fort Caroline Workshop Dates: 

June 23, June 30, July 9, and July 16

Kingsley Plantation Workshop Dates:

June 25, July 1, July 8, July 14

All Workshops 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
