present a live performance of
Adam Rogers

At the National Park Service French Quarter Visitor Center
419 Decatur St, New Orleans
Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Adam Rogers’ main drive and inspiration came from the syncopated stylings of turn of the century ragtimers such as Scott Joplin, James Scott, and Joseph Lamb. He plays a wide array of compositions mostly from the “golden age” of ragtime 1899-1917, and occasionally take a foray into Harlem Stride and the more contemporary music of “Jass” from the post WWI era. He has recorded with a big band jazz ensemble at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
