Join us Saturday, December 14, 2024 for Holidays at Hampton!

This year’s event will explore the sounds of the season and how music, songs, and storytelling shaped the holiday traditions of all those who lived and worked at Hampton from 1783 through 1948.

 

Park rangers and volunteers will share the stories of the Hampton mansion, the people who lived and worked here. Throughout the day we will feature musical performances by ConneXions Academy choir and 42nd Street Singers highlighting songs of the festive season! There will also be African American Storytelling and Music with Griots' Circle of Maryland, Inc and free 19th-century silhouettes thanks to Silhouettes by Hand (first come, first served).
