This is an all-day hike. The exact ending time varies, but if you sign up for a discovery hike, you should make sure to not have any other plans scheduled until after 7 pm.
Description
Discovery Hikes are challenging, off-trail hikes led by park rangers. They are a great way for the adventurous and well-prepared to explore the heart of Denali! These hikes travel everywhere, so expect uneven terrain, water crossings, close encounters with dense vegetation, and unpredictable weather. During the registration process, rangers at the visitor center will provide details about upcoming hikes, including the approximate distance and elevation gain.

Registration is required in-person at the Denali Visitor Center, one or two days in advance of your hike. All members of your party must be present in order to sign up. Limited to 11 participants per hike.
