Do you have bat residents living rent free in your attic and want to learn more about them, and how to protect them? Join us for International Bat Week on October 27th from 12-1pm for a one hour zoom webinar to learn all about bats, what makes them special, and how we can protect them. We will hear from Dartmouth College researchers Eran Amichai and Hannah ter Hofstede who have been researching a bat population at Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park. In this webinar, they will teach us about general bat biology, highlighting their research into echolocation, and provide us with some tips for bat conservation. Live close captioning available.Co-hosted with Billings Farm and Museum and co-sponsored by Vermont Woodlands Association and Vermon Coverts: Woodlands for Wildlife.
