Description

Join us for plein air drawing and sketching with a local artist. Raksha Soni is an artist at the Brush Art Gallery & Studios. She will be leading a session on sketching and drawing outside our Visitor Center on Sunday, July 11, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The program is free, but space is limited and reservations are required.

Visitors are welcome to bring:

  1. Canvas panel/stretched canvas/acrylic or watercolor paper taped to a hard surface (size: 11”x14”)
  2. Drawing pencil, eraser
  3. Acrylic paints (set of 12 or Titanium White, Ivory Black, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Phthalo Blue, Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Lavender)
  4. Paint brushes (flat brush #6, #10, Round Brush #3)
  5. Mixing tray
  6. Water container
  7. Rag/paper towel
  8. Apron
  9. Easel
  10. Chair
