The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public. This concert is presented in partnership with the Berklee Summer in the City concert series.

Finesse is a vibrant duo made up of Gabriela Joya and Maria Medina, known for their dynamic blend of Latin jazz and Cuban music. Joya, a gifted vocalist and traditional instrument player, began her musical journey in Cuba, where she developed a deep love for the rhythms of her homeland. Medina, a skilled percussionist and pianist, earned her music degrees studying under renowned instructors and refining her craft across genres.

Together, they create a lively and engaging sound, full of catchy melodies, intricate rhythms, and energetic improvisation. Their performances celebrate the rich traditions of Cuban music while bringing a fresh, modern twist to the Latin jazz scene. Whether in intimate settings or large concert halls, Finesse captivates audiences with their chemistry, musicality, and passion, making them a standout act wherever they perform.
