Description
Join us for a free-free day as we celebrate the National Park Service's 105th birthday! On August 25, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the legislation establishing the National Park Service, which is also referred to as "America's best idea." Since then the National Park Service has preserved over 420 natural and scenic areas, recreational areas, and cultural sites across the United States.
Visit Prince William Forest Park and enjoy miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, biking, and more! The park will be open from sunrise to sunset. Please note that camping fees are not part of the fee-free program and will still be needed in order to reserve a campsite. All camping reservations must be made through Recreation.gov.
