Description
Did you know that once Maryland was the largest grower of tobacco, its cured leaves for smoking, snuff, and chewing. This “herb” or “weed” was sprouted and prepared for cultivation in winter, and planted in spring to grow tall and green in summer. Greenbelt was once lush with the green leaves of growing tobacco.
Meet at the Campfire Circle near the campground at 8:30 p.m.
