Located just off of the paved connector trail between Park Headquarters and the canyon's rim, McKee Amphitheater features bench seating in an open-air amphitheater. Park in Lot A, the long, narrow lot that extends from Park Headquarters to the Shrine of the Ages Auditorium.

Evening Program
Ancient Ecosystems
Travel back in time to explore fossils and learn about the ancient ecosystems that formed the
rocks of the Grand Canyon. 60 minutes.
Meet at McKee Amphitheater — 8 pm
Nighttime temperatures can be quite cool, even in summer. You are encouraged to bring warm layers of clothing.
Program may be cancelled due to weather. All programs are subject to change.
