This program is free and open to the public. 

Elijah Hartman (vocals) brings a youthful revival to jazz standards from the 20s-60s. The multi-lingual singer is a rising star in the New Orleans jazz scene—an arranger, lyricist, and captivating performer who seamlessly blends his New York-Puerto Rican roots with the rich influences of New Orleans and Paris which offers a deep understanding of many genres, which crafts a unique sound that’s all his own, Elijah is a talented vocalist and scat singer; and is heavily influenced by the bebop era of jazz and takes inspiration from Judy Garland, Tony Bennett, Donna Summer, and Celia Cruz. He doesn’t just echo the past; he brings jazz into the present, creating a connection with his audience that’s both nostalgic and new. Watch Elijah as he transports you back to the golden era of Black American Music, while simultaneously pushing the genre forward with every performance.

Harry Mayronne (pianist, composer) was Musical Director/Arranger at the National WWII Museum's Stage Door Canteen, for Billie and Ella, as well as Anaïs St. John's Josephine Baker show. His restaurant music comedyWaiting Around--the Restaurant Musicalfor which he composed the score, with book and lyrics by Ricky Graham, ran for three years in New Orleans at le chat noir. Harry was co-producer of an off-Broadway production, which played at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.The show also had two special performances at the Greenbrier. Harry will be appearing at the 2025 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with Chloe Marie.
