Visitor Center Outdoor Information Desk is open from 8 am to 4 pm. The building is closed
Due to current CDC Covid-19 Low Community Level in Coconino County, masks are not required indoors this week, in park buildings, and on public transportation. As of August 11, 2022.
- The Visitor Center Building is closed, however, an information desk staffed by park rangers is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm just outside the front of the building.
- Trip planning and hiking information is also available through signs and exhibits outside of the building — and at other key locations throughout the park.
- On the other side of the Visitor Center Plaza, the Park Store is open 8 am to 6 pm daily. The Park Store features a wide variety of books, maps, souvenirs, and gifts.
- The park store also has a Passport Stamp Station, Junior Ranger Books/Badges, and Grand Canyon National Park B.A.R.K. Ranger Dog Tags.
- Also on the other side of the plaza is Bright Angel Bicycle Rental and Café. They provide rentals and guided bicycle tours. They also have a small coffee bar/café with a grab & go menu. Bike Rentals 8 am to 5 pm daily. Café: 7 am to 6 pm daily.

The park store is located on the south side of Grand Canyon Visitor Center's plaza, adjacent to parking lot 4. The park store has the Passport Stamp Station, Junior Ranger Books/Badges, and Grand Canyon National Park B.A.R.K. Ranger Dog Tags. This large store also features a wide variety of books, maps, apparel, souvenirs, and gifts to help you to plan, or share your trip to Grand Canyon with friends and family back home. The large variety of publications provide in-depth information about Grand Canyon's geology, ecology, and history.
