Help us plant a pollinator garden!

Support the bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that are vital to our ecosystem by planting pollinator-friendly plants.

Meet at the Big Thicket Field Research Station at 16890 FM 770 in Saratoga.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and long-sleeved shirts, and to bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Park staff will supply all necessary tools for the event.

National Public Lands Day

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is a day to celebrate and give back to your public lands. Big Thicket National Preserve is hosting 3 volunteer events on NPLD: trash clean-up, trail beautification, and planting a pollinator garden.
