Description

National Junior Ranger Day is Saturday, April 24, and children of all ages are invited to “Explore, Learn, and Protect” your national park and become an official Junior Ranger. Pick up a free Junior Ranger activity book at the visitor center, located at Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge, or download a copy at www.nps.gov/mapr/learn/kidsyouth/beajuniorranger.htm.

Every child who visits on National Junior Ranger Day will receive a junior ranger button, pop-out junior ranger hat, pencil, and junior ranger activity book. In addition, every child who completes and turns in their junior ranger activity book will receive a free junior ranger badge or patch, and lapel pin.

For those who are adventurous, we also have a Junior Ranger Night Explorer book with patch and a NASA Spaceflight Explorer book with certificate. https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nightskies/juniorrangernight.htm
