Ravee Treesaksesakoon was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a trumpet player, singer, song writer and arranger. He is specialized in traditional jazz music. He started playing French horn when he was in middle school. At the same time, he picked up his trumpet and started playing. He decided to take trumpet seriously after he was filled with passion by participating and watching many great trumpet players from the US at Thailand International jazz conference in 2009. Ravee was involved in many numbers of famous groups and jazz festivals either Thailand and abroad such as TIJC (Thailand international jazz conference) in 2011 – 2019. AYJO (Asian youth jazz orchestra) in 2015 – 2016. JASSO (Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra) in 2019 -2020. Snake city jazz festival in Denmark in 2016 and 2018. He also worked with Pathorn Srikaranonda, Jeremy Monterio, Osamu Matsumoto and Mayuko Kataura who are the most renowned and notable jazz musicians in Asia.
This band consists of undergraduate students at the University of New Orleans learning the jazz idiom. UNO has a robust Jazz Studies music program that was founded by the late Ellis Marsalis. The Department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The program is designed to prepare students for entry in to the fields of music performance, business, engineering, and as a foundation for future graduate study.
