The Scotts Bluff Summit Road is a 1.6 mile drive from the visitor center to the summit of Scotts Bluff. First opened to the public on September 19, 1937, the road leads through three tunnels and features the oldest concrete road surface in the state of Nebraska. 

Vehicles longer than 25 feet and/or higher than 11 feet 7 inches are prohibited. All trailers are prohibited.
