Crane Trust river blinds are located along the largest Sandhill Crane roost in the world. Located on the Platte River, near the emigrant trails, this trail site will give you a wildlife experience close to those who traveled the trails in the 1800s.
The Crane Trust is a habitat conservation nonprofit organization located in Wood River Nebraska. In addition to offering tours of one of the greatest migrations in the world, the Trust works year-round to protect and maintain nearly 10,000 acres of critical habitat for whooping cranes, sandhill cranes and other migratory birds.
