Operational Status of Launch Ramp: OPERABLE with delays

Construction will cause extended delays for boaters to launch. On the busiest summer days boaters should seek out alternate launches. The project will start June 2nd, 2025.

Renting a Boat

• Boats can be rented through the concessionaire at the marina next to Hemenway Harbor Launch Ramp.
• Please visit their website for rental information and bookings.

Boating Safety

• Life jackets save lives.
• Each person on board a personal watercraft, or anyone being towed behind a vessel, must wear a life jacket.
• All boaters must know and follow applicable state & federal boating requirements. This inclides carrying all required equipment on your vessel.
• Children under 13 years old must wear a life jacket whenever underway in a vessel, unless they are in a fully enclosed area.

• Lake levels, managed by the Bureau of Reclamation, change regularly.
• Always approach the shore with caution and watch for shallows and submerged debris.
• Track the most recent water levels for Lake Mead.

• Plan ahead by checking the weather.
• Be prepared in case weather changes.
