The bookstore at the Fort Vancouver Visitor Center is operated by the Friends of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
The bookstore has a wide range of books, jewelry, artwork, posters, postcards, Pendleton goods, Jacobsen salt products, heritage seeds from the Fort Vancouver garden, National Park Service passports, water bottles, magnets, and other items available for retail sale. These products complement the interpretive themes you experience when visiting the park.
To limit congestion in the small space, field trip groups are limited to 10 children inside of the bookstore at a time, accompanied by two adult chaperones. If your school group is larger than this, there is plenty of room in the Visitor Center for students to explore with adult chaperones as they rotate in groups through the bookstore.
