Fifteen-mile House, an inn, served as a Pony Express remount station from April 1860 to July 1860. Two stage lines also used this inn as a relay station.

Fifteen-mile Station, originally an 1855 inn, stood at present-day 11300 White Rock Rd at Rancho Cordova, California. It served as a remount station for the Pony Express from April 1860 to July 1860, when the western terminus of the Pony Express was moved east from Sacramento to Folsom. Thereafter, the mail was carried by train between Folsom and California. There was no further need for a remount station in Rancho Cordova.
Today, nothing remains of the building, and the site is now occupied by a business. The state has designated the site of Fifteen-mile House/Station as a California Historical Landmark No. 698.
A dressed-stone monument, about 5 feet tall, at the southeast corner of the intersection of White Rock Rd and Gold Valley Dr commemorates the station. A plaque there provides historical information. The monument can be accessed from a public sidewalk, but no street parking is available in the vicinity.
