Discover Cottonwood Cove

If you like to open your motel window to sunrises over the water or to dip your toes in the sand or to sleep on a houseboat on Lake Mohave with your closest friends and family, you should check out Cottonwood Cove. It's about an hour south of Las Vegas. Here, you can launch your own boat or rent one of ours or just enjoy a picnic on one of the plentiful beaches.

Boating
Launching at Cottonwood Cove allows you to experience boating along the narrow Colorado River or in wide open water. Boating services include launch ramps, fuel sales (marine and auto) along with a variety of boat and equipment rental options to include houseboats. Boat slip rentals and dry storage are also available.

Where to Stay
There are plenty of options just steps from the water. The Cottonwood Cove Motel rests along a sandy beach, and each room as a covered outdoor patio. Around 75 RV sites are available with full hookups, and another 45 campsites are available for tents and RVs without hookups. Primitive camping is available nearby, as well.

Resteraunts and Picknicking
The Cottonwood Cove Café offers a selection of family-friendly entrees for breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering. A variety of snacks, drinks and charcoal are available at the store. Picnic tables and grills are available, as well.

Hiking
Take a stroll along the beaches to discover new sandy coves, or journey along the hills for picturesque lake views.

Beaches and Coves
Park your car and walk right to the water's edge at Cottonwood Cove Beach, or stroll along the shoreline and journey to the north to access Box Cove or venture south to Ski Cove. Dozens of sandy coves can also be reached by boat for a secluded getaway.
