Site Access & Description

The Eagle Lake Carriage Road Entrance is located on the north side of Maine State Route 233 across from Eagle Lake, a short distance from a separate boat ramp entrance.

There are two accessible parking spaces in front of the restrooms designated by very faint paint on the ground and a sign on a post in between the two spaces.

The asphalt transitions to compact gravel as the path leads to a trash receptacle and the vault toilets. Continuing past the restrooms and towards the carriage roads, there is a three-sided kiosk and a wayside.

It is a winter scene with small rocks strewn about the parking lot and snow piles surrounding the edges, providing evidence of plowing activity.
