Since the springs are on private property, the park is located just south of the site and offers plenty of things to do. Found in the park are informational signs that tell the emigrant story, a large wagon and oxen team sculpture built by a local craftsman, and a one mile long, handicap accessible walking trail. Amenities include restrooms and a shelter with picnic tables. The park is maintained by Pottawatomie County.
