History
Built by Charles Hamilton in 1929. The concrete outer walls were designed to resemble wood. This store was also known as the Basin Auto Camp store, because it served hundreds of campers.
The station sits “higher” on the terrain of the Upper Geyser Basin than Hamilton’s first store and gas station in the area.
