Massanutten Lodge is a historic building from the early days of Skyland. Built in 1911, it was the home of Addie Nairn Pollock, co-owner of Skyland Resort and wife of Skyland founder George Freeman Pollock. The lodge's living room has been historically refurnished to reflect how Addie lived around 1915. The lodge also houses an exhibit, "The Women of Skyland," which documents the lives of several women who frequented the resort in the roaring 20s. Although from very different backgrounds, they all held in common the need to reach beyond many of the social barriers of the time.

The lodge is open for visitation during our Ranger program season, generally late spring through autumn (view ranger program schedule). Please note that no bags, food, or drinks are allowed in the building. Photography is also prohibited inside the building.
