The Mariposa Grove Shuttle provides free service between the Mariposa Grove Welcome Plaza & Parking (stop 2) and the Mariposa Grove Arrival Area & Trailhead (stop 1). Shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes.
The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is the park's largest stand of giant sequoias, with about 500 mature sequoias in the grove. Park at the Mariposa Grove Welcome Plaza and board the free shuttle bus to get a glimpse of these giants.
Dates are subject to change according to weather and road conditions, which may vary from year to year. In any given year, shuttle service will begin no earlier than April 15 (possibly later), and will close on or before November 30 (depending on conditions).

Shuttle Tips & Accessibility
- Pets are not allowed on shuttles.
- Allow wheelchairs to board first.
- Collapse strollers before boarding.
- No oversized or jogging strollers.
- Remove baby-back carriers when seated.
- Shuttles only stop at designated stops.
- No smoking on shuttles.
All shuttles are accessible with wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. The maximum size for wheelchairs on shuttles is 24 inches wide x 46 inches long. Shuttle drivers will help passengers on and off shuttles or notify them of stops. If you need assistance, ask the driver.
