Lake Lodge Cabins offer a spectacular rocking chair view of Yellowstone Lake from the main lodge. Located behind the lodge are 186 cabins. The main lodge houses a delightful lobby where two fireplaces and a lounge warmly beckon guests to linger and chat. This reservable lodging facility is operated by Yellowstone National Park Lodges, an authorized National Park Service concessioner.

Amenities & Operating Dates

Specific offerings are typically open daily from early-June through early-October:
  • Cabins: a variety of cabin styles—from more basic Pioneer cabins to Western and Frontier cabins—offer private bathrooms and simple comforts including heat, coffee/tea maker, and fan. Cabins do not have WiFi, air conditioning, or TVs, and in-room cooking and smoking/vaping are not permitted. Pets are allowed in select cabins.
  • Wylie's Canteen: open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (first-come, first-served). Offers American fare, including local ranch beef burgers and bison dogs. Grab a seat by the window and enjoy views of Yellowstone Lake or cap it off with a specialty drink from the convenient Lodge Lobby Bar located just outside Wiley’s Canteen entrance.
  • Gift Shop: offering souvenirs and apparel for purchase. Located next to the registration desk.

Accessibility

There are ten ADA cabins available. Wheelchairs are available for loan at the hotel for guests or for rent at the Lake Medical Clinic. Wheelchair users may require assistance to access lodge and cafeteria ((no curb cut).
