Pets are not allowed on this hike. Discover the cultural history of Shenandoah National Park as you pass by historic rock walls, a cemetery, and periwinkles planted by former residents.

Hike Description

  1. From the trailhead, located across the Skyline Drive from Dickey Ridge Visitor Center (mile 4.6), go left onto Dickey Ridge Trail,
  2. Turn right onto Fox Hollow Trail.
  3. Stay on Fox Hollow Trail—past rock piles and the Fox family cemetery—back to your starting point.
