Here, the Florida National Scenic Trail is accessible from the road, located on the south side of the trail. On the north side, a small trail and a 15 minute walk will take you down to the bay, where you may see birds and other wildlife. To continue toward Battery Worth, walk west for another 0.3 miles. To continue to Fort Pickens, walk west for about 0.4 miles.
