Winter Visitor Information

 

 

Fall, Winter and Early Spring is a great time to visit Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Please familiarize yourself with facility openings and closings during this time of the year.

October 16-April 14:

All campsites, in all campgrounds, are first come, first served, NO RESERVATIONS.

Reduced camping rates at developed sites go into effect: $12 for non-electric, $15 for electric.

Developed Campgrounds:

Alley Spring: (No Reservations during off season)

• Electric only at electric sites, no water.

• Water available via outside faucet at shower house.

• Dump Station Open, no water.

• Bathroom/Shower House Open.

• 100, 200, 300, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 loops Open for camping.

• Picnic Pavilions-Open, electric only, no water.

Round Spring:

• Picnic Pavilion-Open, water and electric

• Round Spring Picnic Restroom-Open

• Round Spring Campground Shower House-Open

• E1-E6 Electric Sites, electric/no water

Big Spring:

• 100 & 200 loop campsites-Open, no shower house. dump station available/no water.

Pulltite:

• No dump station, Ranger Station bathroom Open, Ranger Station shower house Open.

All other campgrounds other than Alley, Round Spring, Pulltite and Big Spring are Fee Free during this period.

Visitor Centers:

• Alley Spring General Store: Open on select weekdays, please see our park Facebook page for weekly updates on when it will be open.

• Pulltite-Closed-Bathrooms Open

• Akers--Bathrooms Open

• Alley Mill-Open until October 31st

• Round Spring Visitor Center-Closed

• Park Headquarters at Van Buren- Open M-F (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) May be closed on some Federal Holidays.

Passport Stamping Locations:

• Park Headquarters M-F (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

• Alley Spring General Store Porch (24/7 Self Serving Stamping Station)

Day Use Areas:

• Day use areas remain open during this period.
