Aaron and Teddy often play by head-butting each other.
NPS/Cindy LaBarge
Though very popular today, goats were uncommon on 19th century farms. Sheep were a more versatile choice. But, goats still do provide multiple resources in milk and meat. There are some goat breeds, like the Angora, which can be sheared much like a sheep. Aaron is a Lamancha Goat and has the small elf-ears of that breed. Teddy is a Toggenburg Goat. Both are old breeds of dairy goat.
