Karma Hope has rejoined the National Park Service (NPS) Division of Fire and Aviation as a management and program analyst, concentrating on agreements.
Karma began her NPS career in 2015 serving as a contractor and spending a year scanning documents. In 2018, she converted into a federal position with the division as the administrative assistant. In March 2021, Karma moved to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Fire Planning and Fuels Management Division as the administrative assistant. That fall, she moved into the BLM Fire Director’s office as the executive assistant. More recently she completed a detail as a budget analyst with the BLM, Fire and Aviation Budget division as a budget analyst/interagency agreement specialist.
She is excited for this next step in her federal career and return to the NPS Fire and Aviation. Karma lives in Boise with her husband, Scott, and their youngest child, Cooper. She has three grown children, Riley, Craig, and Andi, and the cutest granddaughter ever, Olive. When she isn’t working, you can find Karma reading, walking her big dog Quincy, cheering for her BSU Broncos, or playing with Olive.
