Meet the artist: Nathaniel David Anderson

Born in California, the artist is self taught. Raised on a love for travel, arts, and history. An upbringing of adventure inspired the artist immensely. From essentially spending half his childhood in a tent traveling the west, the artist has backpacked numerous countries around the world, exploring untamed wilderness, with a purpose to document his travels with art. Currently, Nathaniel is based in Colorado, spending the summers trail running and continuing to create new work.

More about Hal Foss Glacier

This is a small cirque glacier on the north side of Hal Foss Peak. Hal Foss is a peak between Mount Fricaba and Mount Mystery. This glacier flows into the Dosewallips River. In the photo it can be seen in the upper left, above the larger Fricaba Glacier.
