The National Park Service has issued a Prospectus soliciting proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate overnight accommodations, food and beverage, retail, and related services at Log Cabin Resort within Olympic National Park Operation of the facilities is currently covered by a Temporary Concession Contract between the National Park Service (NPS) and ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment Services, LLC that will expire September 30, 2013. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. A one-day site visit to Log Cabin Resort and facilities is scheduled for Monday, May 6. "Concessions operators are valuable park partners, and we are excited to begin this process to identify a new contract for the continued operation of Log Cabin Resort," said Olympic National Park Superintendent Sarah Creachbaum.
