Olympic National Park, WA – ARAMARK Parks and Destinations has been selected to be awarded a new 10-year concession contract to operate overnight accommodations, food and beverage, retail, non-motorized boat rentals, and related services at Log Cabin Resort within Olympic National Park.

ARAMARK currently manages Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, Lake Crescent Lodge, Fairholme Store, and Hurricane Ridge Gifts & Snack Bar within Olympic National Park, and Lake Quinault Lodge in Olympic National Forest.

ARAMARK has been managing Log Cabin Resort under a temporary concession contract since 2012.During the temporary contract, the park has made numerous improvements to the facilities to improve the visitor experience, and will undertake an improvement program during the term of the 10-year contract.

Concessioners fill a vital role in helping the National Park Service carry out its mission by operating publicly owned facilities and offering high-quality commercial visitor services at reasonable prices.As required by the 1998 Concession Management Improvement Act, the NPS solicited for proposals from April 30 through June 25, 2013, for the commercial services provided at Log Cabin within Olympic National Park.
