Work Scheduled for Hurricane Ridge Road: Minor Delays Anticipated Work to repair damaged guardrails on the lower five miles of Hurricane Ridge Road between the intersection with Mount Angeles Road and Heart O' the Hills, is scheduled for July 24 through 26. The following Monday and Tuesday, July 30 through 31, workers will brush and stripe the road from the intersection with Mount Angeles Road to the top of Hurricane Ridge. Hurricane Ridge Road will remain open throughout the work period, but traffic will be restricted to one lane through work zones and delays of up to 20 minutes should be expected.Work will only occur on weekdays; no holiday or weekend work is scheduled. "We recognize the inconvenience this work may represent to some of our visitors, and we ask the public for their understanding and patience," said Olympic National Park Acting Superintendent, Todd Suess."We urge people to use caution and to call our recorded hotline for current road conditions, 360-565-3131."
