Basic Information

Summers are very warm with temperatures averaging low- mid 90’s. Also, be mindful of the heat index. Spring weather brings mild temperatures, 60’s-70’s, but the ability to produce severe storms that could include heavy rains, strong winds, hail, and tornadoes. While winters are generally mild delivering temperatures in the 40’s and 50’s, the wind chill can be brutal. No matter the season you are planning to visit, be prepared for the winds to be gusting.

Entrance Fees:

Oklahoma City National Memorial: Outdoor Symbolic Memorial Entrance Fee - $0.00

There is no fee to visit the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial. There is, however, a $15.00 to enter the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum which is owned and operated by the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation.


Completed officially in 2001, the Oklahoma City National Memorial consists of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum.

The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial holds 8 outdoor symbolic features that explain the story of April 19, 1995, including the former location of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

The Memorial Museum consists of two floors that detail the bombing and its aftermath, including the investigation and trials that took place.
